About the 1979 Porsche 928

Launched in 1978, the Porsche 928 is a grand touring car. It was designed to be Porsche’s flagship model, boasting plenty of luxury features and a more comfortable ride than the 911. The 1979 Porsche 928 features a 4.5 liter engine that produces 219 horsepower. It had an original sticker price of $32,885, which translates to roughly $110,000 in today’s dollars.
